We are in critical need of diapers size 4 and 5 and wipes! Donations are accepted at our child care centers or at the Vital Connections office.
Every little bit helps.
A donation of $100 to Children's Garden Child Development
Center would purchase an average of 4 cases of diapers, that
will serve 8 children for one week.
Benefits of investment in early childhood education include:
Is this the type of sound investment you feel is needed
in your community?
Want to know how your donation helps? Below are just a few examples of what your contribution means to a child.
$30, or your Starbucks Budget for the Week
For what you spend on coffee and snacks this week, you could feed a hungry child breakfast, lunch, and a healthy snack in the afternoon. With so many of our children food insecure, these meals can be the difference in a full tummy or going hungry. A donation of just $30 will ensure that a child has meals for the school week.
For what you spend to fill up your car, you can make sure an infant has diapers and wipes for a week. Healthy living starts with a clean bottom and we provide diapers for our infants. With eight little ones, however, this gets expensive and your donation can make sure these children have some of the necessities.
For what you could spend on a nice suit, dress, or formal outfit, you can provide school supplies for a whole year. Giving children a creative outlet and providing them with a solid education is critical to helping them stay in school and to help then to love learning. IF $300 sounds like a lot, just split it over the course of a year. It breaks down to just $6 a week. That's not a huge investment to help provide for a child's future.
As a non-profit we're dependent on grants and donations. By setting up a recurring gift, you can help us provide stability, security, food, and an education for kids of all income levels. Your donations don't have to be large to make a difference. If you want o know how you can help more, contact Executive Director Robin McCants at 803-661-8685.
